My Sweet Acorntwits and More

This small creature is an Acorntwit! He has many siblings and they are all as cute as him.

There are drawn Acorntwits (above) and there are magnet Acorntwits (as you can see in this picture below!)

Tomorrow a special friend is coming for tea so this morning I made these special chocolate cupcakes! They are the softest and have chocolate chips inside that melt when they are heated... yummy!!

ta-ta to you!

Jennifer Murphy Inspired Creations

After seeing Jennifer Murphy's cute bunnies I was inspired, so I tried to make my own...
Slightly different from the original. They are so much fun to make.. the hardest part is shaping the pom-pom head. If that goes wrong the bunny comes out looking not so great. Here are some of the ones I've made.

The Chili Pepper Person - I Loves the Redness

These are my favourite homegrown delicious garden gifts! The Redness is so bright ...
... and those chili peppers i use on anything!! well, mostly with pasta because tomato sauce goes splendid with its hotness..

my favourite dish these days...

Aren't they cute in bunches..?

... and with leaves...
A friend gave me these plants when they were real tiny and I grew them with great care..
DIDN'T I!?

Tarts and Tea, My Brother and Me

Yesterday I made gorgeous, soft and sweet raisin cupcakes..

I also made some tea with it and how nice it was indeed..

I suddenly felt rather inspired to paint and so i didn't stop myself.. here are my new watercolour-and coloured pencil drawings of me and, below, of my brother eddy.

Next time I draw him I shall add glasses. I had already sketched them on the face this time but then I preferred to leave it simple as it was my second try painting such big faces. Anyhow Eddy wears contacts all the time now so it's not like I always see him with specs like I used to! :)

A presto... Until soon.. Bis Bald... A bientot..

Dad Says: "Walk Slow"

A long time has passed since my dad once said: "Walk Slow".
But little did he know that what he'd said would be our anytime laughable joke ..

Bee Original

Here in Italy the must is Cellphone Charms! Everybody seems to have the same cute but somehow boring Winnie the Pooh Animal Wear charms so last December I figured I would have loved to have a cellphone charm that no one else owned. I decided I was going to make it myself.

A bee charm I created.

Less than a month later, in January, many friends started asking me to make them one of my "Bee Original" cellphone charms.. eventually friends of friends... well, this bee charm is the first craft I ever sold and it's made me very excited!

Now I'm on to "Octopussy" but that is another story!

Back in the Days

I have always had a passion for crayons, brushes, pens, sewing machines and creating. Even when I was young, I would sit for hours at my desk and pretend I was a great artist!

At the age of 7 my grandma taught me how to knit and shortly after my mum showed me how to crochet. One Christmas I received an adorable sewing machine. I was in heaven!

I first started challenging myself when I got into Dollhouses at the age of 8. I would spend hours making miniature size food, clothes, letters and packages, curtains, books, towels, gardens, cushions and so forth for the little animal figurines that I collected (Sylvanian Families).

When I moved back to Italy, maybe due to a slight culture-change shock, having to make new friends and having my dollhouses boxed up, I ignored my miniature-craft habits. I painted and drew but extremely rarely. Then in 1999 the craft mania magically started again and from then it has only grown and grown….

So there will be a lot to see…
