I'm back!! - Sono tornata!!

Dear Friends and blog friends,

I'm back! After two years! 

I'm not sure if anyone will actually read this post. You were all probably wondering where I'd ended up.. Well, here I am to explain my very long absence and here I am to start blogging again which I really missed.

As you know from my last posts on this blog, in August 2013 I flew to England to start a university specialization course.

Sono tornata! Dopo due anni!

Non so se ci sarà qualcuno che leggerà questo mio post. Vi sarete chiesti dove fossi finita.. beh, rieccomi per spiegarvi la mia lunga assenza e per riprendere in mano il blog che tanto mi è mancato.

Come avrete visto dai miei ultimi post, ad agosto 2013 ho preso un aereo per l'Inghilterra per incominciare un corso universitario di specializzazione.

 I knew it was only going to last a year and it was worth it! Soon, however, the amount of studying together with my actual job made crafting impossible as well as blogging. It was an extremely challenging year but absolutely worthwhile. It was a year when I kept imagining all the crafts I could do once it was all over. :) 2014 arrived. This was the year I like to call of "Home Projects". We added on to our house and on top of that, I finally now have a craftroom (which I will post about very soon). The whole year went by working on these big creative projects.

Sapevo che sarebbe durato un anno ma ne sarebbe valsa la pena! Presto, comunque, la mole di studio unita al mio lavoro ha reso il crafting impossibile così come il blogging. E' stato un anno molto impegnativo per me ma assolutamente ne è valsa la pena. E' stato un anno in cui continuavo ad immaginare a tutti i crafts che avrei fatto una volta finito. :) E il 2014 è arrivato. Questo è stato l'anno che chiamo dei "Progetti di Casa". Abbiamo ampliato casa nostra e in più finalmente ora ho una craftroom (a cui dedicherò un post molto presto). L'intero anno è stato occupato da questi grandi progetti creativi.

Starting 2015, I finally started painting and crafting again. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen some on these pictures already. Here are some of my 2015 craft photos I'd like to share with you.

Col 2015 ho finalmente ripreso a dipingere e "craftare". Se mi seguite su Instagram avrete già visto alcune di queste foto. Ecco qui alcuni scatti creativi del 2015 che mi piacerebbe condividere con voi.

I've been doing little crochet projects and practice!

Ho fatto piccoli esercizi e lavoretti all'uncinetto!

I tried knitting after years!

Ho provato a fare la maglia dopo anni!

I sewed a lot!

Ho cucito tanto!

 I made a puff quilt for my friend's baby!

Ho fatto una trapunta puff per la bimba di una mia amica!

I learned to make my first ami gurumi thanks to my crafty friend Nina!

Ho imparato a fare il mio primo ami gurumi grazie alla mia amica creativa Nina!

 ...so I made a second one all on my own.

...quindi ne ho fatto un secondo tutto da sola.

 I made more bracelets than ever, but I haven't got a picture of all of them.

Ho fatto braccialetti in quantità ma non ho una foto di tutti.

 I taught my friends how to make this cute little bunny at the "Bunny-making-club"!

Ho insegnato alle mie amiche come fare questo piccolo coniglietto!

I learnt to make flower crowns from my Swedish friend Maria!

Ho imparato a fare coroncine di fiori dalla mia amica svedese Maria!

...and there is so much more to do, learn, create. I can't wait!

All you need to do is believe you can do it!

All you need to do is try it out without fear of failure!

Because it's not a big deal if you do get things wrong. You can always try again!

Bisogna solo credere di potrecela fare!

Bisogna solo tentare senza avere paura di sbagliare!

Perché non è un dramma se la prima volta non si ottengono i risultati sperati. Si può sempre ritentare!

Spero vi piacerà rientrare nel mondo de Certain Creatures Crafts.

I'm back!!

Dear friends and blogfriends,

It's been more than two months since my last post. It feels so good to be back! I bet you were wondering where I'd vanished..well, work is the main reason I had to stop blogging up to now.

Now I'm back and I'm hoping to be able to get some craft projects done over the summer and share them with you.

Sono passati più di due mesi dal mio ultimo post. Che bello essere tornati! Immagino vi siete chiesti dov'ero finita.. beh, la ragione principale della mia assenza è stata il lavoro.

Ora sono tornata e spero di poter fare qualche craft durante l'estate e condividerlo con voi.

Il tempo vola! 

Eccomi qui!!

Questo mio piccolo angolino che si chiama Certain Creatures è un posto dove mi piace condividere le mie passioni per il DIY e la fotografia, mostrare le cose che trovo interessanti e che mi piacciono, ma è anche uno sprone per me per ritagliarmi momenti creativi nonostante il lavoro, una casa e le mille cose da fare.. 

Da blogger seguo altri blog bellissimi e mi rendo conto che faccio fatica a seguirli come vorrei. Mi spiego meglio.. ho il mio elenco di blog preferiti che vado periodicamente a leggere traendone ispirazione ma a volte per la fretta mi dimentico di lasciare un commento! Un commento sembra poco ma è tanto per un/una blogger... Sono proprio i commenti a tenere vivo quel piccolo angolo in internet fatto di sogni e di passioni. E' sapere che c'é qualcuno che ti legge e a cui interessa ciò che pubblichi a darti la carica per nuovi post!

Quindi il mio obiettivo della settimana e di quelle future è proprio quello di lasciare più spesso un segno del mio passaggio! Come è importante per me lo è anche per altre blogger!

 Another year has ended...

A new one has begun!

Un altro anno è finito...

uno nuovo è appena iniziato!

 I spent some wonderful days in northern Italy, near Austria with my family. This gorgeous place is called Sterzing and we go here several times a year. The winter season is my favourite!

Ho trascorso alcuni giorni meravigliosi in famiglia a Vipiteno in Alto Adige. Andiamo spesso in questo posto delizioso, durante il periodo natalizio sembra incantato..la stagione invernale è la mia preferita!

If you've never been to Sterzing put it on your to-do list! You can ski there and go on a 10km sleigh ride! Super fun!

Lights!

Hello there! How was your weekend?

Mine was very christmasy! We set up the Christmas tree in the house and in the garden! It's the first time we have lights outside and we really like them! Aren't they cute?

Il mio è stato molto natalizio! Abbiamo addobbato l'albero in casa e in giardino! E' la prima volta che mettiamo le luci esterne e ci piacciono tanto! Non le trovate carinissime?
