Hi friends!

As some of you know already, I enjoy being creative when laying the table and I have fun mixing and matching napkins, tablecloths, glasses, candles... Here are some shots of tables I've prepared lately.

Garden Parties

Spending time in the garden is so much fun! I like to set up this area with candles and invite friends over after dinner for ice cream. During the day it's quite hot but later on it gets nice and breezy.. It's a lovely way to spend the evening!

Trascorrere tempo in giardino mi piace molto! Mi piace illuminare con tante candeline e invitare amici dopo cena per del gelato. Di giorno fa troppo caldo ma di sera c'é sempre un venticello.. E' bello passare così le serate!

I enjoy very much setting the table when guests come over for lunch or dinner. I like to add candles and fresh flowers to make it colourful and special. I picked these peonies and roses from my garden!

Mi piace molto apparecchiare la tavola per gli ospiti che vengono a pranzo o a cena. Mi piace aggiungere candele e fiori freschi per rendere il tutto colorato e speciale. Ho raccolto queste peonie e queste rose dal mio giardino!

Plus, these days I can't seem to resist this tint of pink!

Tea Party

The other day I had a tea party with some friends. Having just moved into the new house and not ever having had one before, I often feel like I'm still missing something: either a certain type of plate or glass or pot... I guess that with time I shall manage to be well equipped!

Never mind this! The tea party went very well and my friends enjoyed it. I think there will be many ones to come.

L'altro giorno ho presto il thé con amici. Essendomi appena trasferita nella casa nuova a non avendo mai avuto una casa tutta mia prima d'ora, spesso mi capita che mi manchino delle cose: o un certo tipo di piatto o bicchiere o vaso... Immagino ci voglia tempo e col tempo mi rifornirò di tutto!

Beh, nonostante questo agli amici è piaciuto molto e penso si ripeterà.. ci saranno altri tea parties prima o poi!

DIY Jam Cookies

Party Flags

Goodmorning girls!

It's another beautiful day here in Bologna, Italy. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and I'm crafting away on the balcony where the breeze is blowing (incredibly enough!). I just finished making these party flags! I love them and I found a really easy and fast way to make them!

Buongiorno ragazze!

E' un'altra bellissima giornata qui a Bologna. Il sole brilla, gli uccellini cantano e io sto facendo i crafts sul terrazzo dove soffia un bel venticello (incredibile ma vero!). Ho appena finito di fare queste bandierine! Mi piacciono tantissimo e ho trovato un modo veloce e facile per farle!

Posterò il tutorial questa settimana.. vedrete, ci vorrà pochissimo per fare tutte le bandierine personalizzate che desiderate per le vostre feste!

Some of you've been asking me about the new house. I'll be moving in at the beginning of in September and we're now finishing up little things like cleaning furniture and organizing wardrobes. I will definitely post photos sooner or later on the blog! In the meantime stay tuned for the DIY!

Alcune di voi mi avete chiesto della casa nuova. Mi trasferirò all'inizio di settembre, ora stiamo finendo di sistemare alcune cose, pulire i mobili e riempire gli armadi. Sicuramente posterò delle foto prima o poi sul blog! Intanto state sintonizzate per il tutorial!

A special Birthday

Instead of a birthday cake, I made lots of little biscuits...

Invece di una torta di compleanno, ho fatto dei biscottini..

..and instead of candles I made a little Bunny Cake Topper holding a heart balloon and flag saying "happy Birthday". (I'll post more photos of the details of the bunny soon!)

..e invece delle candeline ho fatto un coniglietto con in mano un palloncino a cuore e una bandierina con suscritto "Buon Compleanno". (Presto posterò altre foto dei dettagli del coniglietto!)

Homemade Cookies

I looove homemade cookies.. do you have any easy and quick recipies to share? This one is very quick!

Adoro fare i biscotti in casa.. avete qualche ricetta facile e veloce da condividere? Questa è mooolto veloce!

Ingredients for dough*Ingredienti per la pasta:
200 g FLOUR - farina
100 g SUGAR - zucchero
100 g BUTTER - burro
2 EGG YOLKS - tuorli
LEMON ZEST - scorza di limone
1 PINCH OF SALT - pizzico di sale

Then make them even more yummy by adding chocolate or jam!

Poi rendeteli ancora più golosi aggiungendo cioccolato o marmellata!

*Chocolate Muffins*

So good... So tempting... chocolate muffins!!!!
Here is the easy and fast recipe!

Buonissimi e irresistibili muffins al cioccolato!!!!
Ecco una ricetta facile e veloce!

INGREDIENTS
360g flour (farina)
130g sugar (zucchero)
1 egg (uovo)
70g butter (burro)
30g chocolate powder (cacao)
130g dark chocolate (cioccolato fondente)
baking powder (lievito)

Mix sugar and egg then add the melted butter. Once these ingredients are mixed add the coco powder and the flour and a bit of the crunched up dark chocolate. Put the compost in a cupcake pan add more crunched chocolate on the top. Leave in the oven at 180°C for 15min.

Mescolate zucchero e uovo, poi aggiungete il burro fuso. Una volta ben amalgamati aggiungete il cacao in polvere e la farina e una parte del cioccolato fondente a pezzetti. Mettete il tutto nelle vaschette da cupcakes e spolverate con altro cioccolato fondente in pezzi. Infornate per 15min a 180°C.
