Garden Parties

Spending time in the garden is so much fun! I like to set up this area with candles and invite friends over after dinner for ice cream. During the day it's quite hot but later on it gets nice and breezy.. It's a lovely way to spend the evening!

Trascorrere tempo in giardino mi piace molto! Mi piace illuminare con tante candeline e invitare amici dopo cena per del gelato. Di giorno fa troppo caldo ma di sera c'é sempre un venticello.. E' bello passare così le serate!

Conosciamoci un pò meglio:

 On the 7th April it was my Birthday and my mum got me this adorable box of flowers from one of my favourite flower shops in Bologna (Italy). It's called Flò! check out their website full of wonderful compositions and ideas!

I spent my weekend with my family and we went to the seaside to relax a bit. It was sunny and wonderful.

It's Autumn..leaves fall, the garden is full of them but these days the sky is marvellous and the sun shines all the time! I love it when autumn is like this!

E' Autunno.. le foglie cadono, il giardino è pieno ma il cielo è meraviglioso e il sole brilla sempre in questi giorni! Adoro l'autunno quando è così!

And by now you know, I love Fridays! It's my favourite day of the week because there's a whole weekend ahead! This weekend will be another busy one: finishing off things in the house and meeting up with friends! I wonder when I'll have a lazy weekend again!

Sono tornata finalmente!

Dopo poco più di un mese, eccomi di nuovo a postare!

Another week is done!

Another week is over and another weekend is around the bend..

As you may have grasped from all of my posts lately, there are many changes in the air for me and the month ahead is full of things to do.

I'll be changing city, changing home, changing lifestyle and it will be a marvellous adventure I think and I hope!

To be honest, I can't wait but there is still a lot to do.

Un'altra settimana è passata e un altro fine settimana è dietro l'angolo..

Come avrete capito dagli ultimi post, ci sono tanti cambiamenti per me nell'aria e il mese che ho davanti è pieno di cose da fare.

Cambierò città, cambierò casa, cambierò stile di vita e penso sarà un'avventura meravigliosa, lo spero!

Oh no...it's Monday!!

Do you ever dream of forgetting that it's Monday and being terribly late for work that you have to run? It happened to me a few days ago...goodness what a nightmare! The week has begun... happy start of the week! Til very soon!

Wedding and Weekend

Due miei amici si sono sposati mercoledì. E' stata una cerimonia stupendi e molti sono arrivati con vecchie 500 troppo carine (una color Tiffany troppo carina!). Il weekend è finalmente qui - sotto una sbirciatina per vedere come mi rilasserò durante il weekend! A fare CRAFTS!!!! siiiiiii!!!

Beatrix Potter is one of my favourite writers together with Katherine Mansfield. I love her stories, her illustrations, her watercolours; she inspires me so much.

Le Jardin

One of the things I did on the day of my birthday was spending time in the garden admiring all the wonderful new flowers. This is my favourite tree and you've already seen it on my blog. Here it is again this year with all its marvellous pinkness!

Una delle cose che ho fatto il giorno del mio compleanno è trascorrere del tempo in giardino ad ammirare tutti i nuovi bellissimi fiori. QUesto è il mio albero preferito e l'avete già visto sul blog. Eccolo di nuovo quest'anno in tutto il suo splendore rosa!

I love photography and it's so much fun for me to photograph just about anything. Sometimes I ask for help because I'd need 4 hands instead of two to get some pics.

Adoro la fotografia e mi diverto tantissimo a fotografare più o meno tutto. A volte chiedo una mano perché a me ne servirebbero 4 per riuscire a fare certi scatti.

And my helper is so patient but also very good!
