Family - part 2

 If you read the previous post, you are probably wondering what I'm working on.. It's a big project and I'm half way through. I'm writing a book about my family!

Se avete letto il post precedente, vi starete chiedendo a cosa sto lavorando.. E' un progetto grosso e sono a metà. Sto scrivendo un libro sulla mia famiglia!

 On the first pages I put all the family trees.

Sulle prime pagine ho messo gli alberi genealogici.

The rest of the pages are for the actual biographies. Every family member has a few pages in which I tell their life story. For some who were born in the 19th century, there isn't as much to say but even if their biograhy is just half a page it's great because they won't be forgotten.

For my mum's part of the family, I work with my grandma who is 79. For my father's part I work with his uncle who is 95! I interview them about each member and write notes on this book.. I'm having lots of fun! I think it's really important to know you origins and keep them alive in time.

Il resto delle pagine sono dedicate alle biografie. Ogni membro della famiglia ha un paio di pagine in cui si racconta la sua storia. Per alcuni nati nel XIX secolo, non c'é tanto da dire ma anche se é mezza pagina va bene perché quel poco non sarà dimenticato.

Per la famiglia dalla parte di mia mamma lavoro con mia nonna che ha 79 anni. Per la famiglia da parte di mio padre lavoro con suo zio che ha 95 anni! Scrivo su questo quaderno mentre mi raccontano.. Mi sto divertendo tanto! Penso sia importante conoscere le proprie origini e mantenerle vive negli anni.
